When you use PlaySociety, we collect the following types of information:

• Phone number — used for account creation and secure OTP-based authentication
• Name and profile information — your name, role (parent, coach, or RWA admin), tower, and apartment number provided during registration
• Usage data — app interactions, session attendance records, fee payment status, and performance notes
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and FCM token for push notifications

2How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity via OTP login
• To provide core app functionality — batch enrollment, attendance tracking, fee management, and performance notes
• To send push notifications about your sessions, fees, and coach applications
• To allow your society's coach and RWA admin to manage sports programs
• To improve the PlaySociety platform and fix issues

3Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Google Cloud Platform — for secure data storage, hosting, and push notifications (Firebase FCM)
• Your society's coach and RWA admin — limited profile and attendance data as required for the sports program you are enrolled in
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users

4Data Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
• Data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform with restricted access
• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's encrypted secure storage — Android Keystore on Android, and iOS Keychain on iPhone
• JWT tokens are used for session management with short expiry periods

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device secure.

5Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active on PlaySociety. Attendance records, fee history, and performance notes are retained for the duration of your enrollment in a society's sports program.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at appplaysociety@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

6Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

7Children's Privacy

PlaySociety is intended for users 18 years and above. Parents and guardians may use the app to manage sports enrollment on behalf of their minor children.

We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at appplaysociety@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

8Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of PlaySociety after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
